Project Legacy is a progressive Vanilla+ server built on the 1.12.1 client (VMaNGOS core) with a simple philosophy: expand Vanilla through lore-friendly content, class balance, and long-term goals without altering the original gameplay or level cap.
🌟 Server specifications
- Rates: 1x experience using a smoother, TBC-style 1–60 leveling curve.
- Launch date: July 17, 2026
- Cross-faction: Full support for groups, guilds, raids, and chat across faction lines.
- Quality of life: Dual specialization available at level 40, no debuff limit, and world buffs disabled inside raids.
- Class balancing: Targeted talent updates for underperforming specs (Retribution/Protection Paladin, Balance Druid, Shadow Priest, Elemental Shaman, and Melee Survival Hunter) while preserving their Vanilla identity.
- Custom modes: Opt-in War Mode (+10% quest XP), Lorewalker Mode (slower leveling for milestone rewards), and Prestige Mode (level 60 reset for elite cosmetics).
⚔️ Launch & progression content
- Available now: All leveling dungeons, Onyxia's Lair, hundreds of new custom quests, and a brand-new custom world boss (Guardian of Hyjal).
- Future content: Molten Core, Dire Maul, and later raids are already complete but locked to ensure a proper progressive timeline.
